Mughal Gardens to be open for special groups on Mar 12-14
The famed Mughal Gardens of Rashtrapati Bhavan in the capital shall be open for viewing for certain special groups from March 12 to 14, an official press release said here today.
On March 12, the gardens shall be open for differently abled persons as well as visually challenged persons.
Entry for differently abled persons using wheelchairs will be through the reception of Rashtrapati Bhavan between 10 A.M. and 1 P.M. Such persons can arrive at Rashtrapati Bhavan through Hukmi Mai Marg or Rajpath along with their escorts. For schools and organizations meant for visually impaired special children, entry would be through Gate No. 12, near North Avenue, from 2.30 P.M. to 3.30 P.M. Visually challenged individuals from the general public can visit from Gate No. 12 between 3.30 P.M. and 4.30 P.M.
On March 13,the gardens shall be open for defence and para-military personnel. Entry shall be from Gate No. 35, near North Avenue.
On March 14, the gardens shall be open for farmers. Entry shall be from Gate No. 35, near North Avenue, the release added.
