Jitendra Nath Misra named Ambassador to Laos

New Delhi, March 5, 2010

Dr Jitendra Nath Misra, currently Consul General of India in Ho Chi Minh City, has been appointed as the country's next Ambassador to Laos.


An official statement from the Ministry of External Affairs said Dr Misra, who will succeed Mr Suresh Kumar Goel, was expected to take up his assignment shortly.
