CCEA go-ahead for IIDF to seek contributions from foreign investors

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) today gave its approval to a proposal of the India Infrastructure Development Fund Limited, Mauritius, to seek contributions from international investors and invest them in the India Infrastructure Development Fund.


The investment will be done by subscribing to the units of the fund under the foreign direct investment (FDI) route, an official press release said.


The approval would result in FDI of more than Rs 750 crore in the country, the release added.
